Jende {Jen-Duh} is the Chinese word for real. Made by Americans with quality always as a top priority. Jende Industries, based in Colorado, brings high quality knives and tools to the whole globe. Our knives and tools are made by the original OAM manufacturer of high grade sharpening systems in the world and are used especially for the culinary industry. We at Jende Industries pride ourselves on the extensive research that is conducted to make every single one of our products. Everything is thought out and researched to offer customers products that only executive chefs would want to purchase, but at a low price so all can afford them! We believe in finding top of line components to make a top of the line product. Everything is made in America. The leather of our custom made knife rolls is made from US tanneries. The fabric for our clothing line for chefs is made of 100% Supima cotton from the US for a comfortable but durable garment. Jende Industries started with Chris Taylor and Tom Blodgett. Chris was working as a chef before he became a police officer of the LAPD. While he worked as an officer, he still enjoyed the arts of cooking. Chris learned he had a much deeper love for culinary arts, and with many contacts still in the culinary business, he decided to open up his own restaurant. After studying in Italy, he opened a few restaurants in Asia. Finally, he formed Jende Industries with Tom to bring high quality artisan knives to the world.Services
